"I have known Lurleen Worthington for over 30 plus years. We first met at Jefferson going back to school for our Bachelor’s in nursing. We instantly became friends as we worked at Jefferson Hospital as well as going to school there and, despite our age difference, had a lot in common. We went on to work together in Pharmaceutical research and she was a supervisor in a different department, but I could always count on her to help me with questions and concerns as my managers were not onsite. I was in Lurleen’s wedding and she handled the wedding like a professional. It was so organized and well planned out. We vacationed in the Outer Banks with multiple families and it went off as smoothly as one could want as she planned everything. She has a lovely property in Plumstead Township, which she and her husband restored and raised two beautiful children. She has been very active in her church over the years and in the community.
